Summer 2011 Special Events – Mark your calendar!

1.The Live-Local: Live Local provides an opportunity for independent artists
and collectives to perform/exhibit their talents at The Arts Garage during Happy
Hours using the outdoor space including the “patio-stage”. Collectives Music
Bands and other audio, visual and performance artists can exhibit their talents
to potential after-work crowd.

2. Art in your junk: The Arts Garage is hosting its first “Art in Your Junk” flea
market. Come trade, sell, batter, lay-away, and, or exchange unwanted art
works of all medium.

3. Rain Dance: “RainDance” is an unique event organized by The Arts Garage,
support efforts to save the world’s remaining Rainforests, among other things. All
the money raised from this event will be donated to socially targeted non-profit
organizations. RainDance aims to be an annual occurrence that will blossom
into an annual festival the City of Philadelphia can be proud of.
