The Arts Garage (TAG) is a progressive performance venue where freelance and emerging entrepreneurial minded artists are welcome to interact and show their creative talent.

The Arts Garage has both indoor and Outdoor performance and installation areas including a 2,200 sq, ft. first floor, complete with bar/lounge and nightly DJ and dance music. The second floor space is a 4,400 sq ft. space complete with a 17′ x 17′ performance stage and a connecting 10′ x 17′ green room. The second floor can accomodate theatre style seating arrangement that comfortably seats up to 90 guests (50 w/tables) or a 150 standing/dance crowd.

Many of the events held at The Arts Garage receive local mass media support, including coverage by Philadelphia Style Magazine, Philadelphia Tribune, Daily News, Inquirer, FOX 29, KYW-3, Philadelphia Weekly, City Paper, Art Museum Home News, UWISHUNU, Philadelphia Business Journal, Youtube, and Blog postings, and we are happy to gain increased recognition and attention from the area leading film makers, curators, promoters, performers, designers, and musicians who have hosted their own events as well as referred others to book events at The Arts Garage.

Event Bookings at TAG have included film releases, book signings, fashion shows, design installations, theater and band performances, opening/culminating, pre and post event parties, cast receptions, and film/music video shoots/releases. We also welcome and compete as a derivative viewing venue for works produced for music Music Festivals, Film Festivals, Fringe Festivals, Book Reviews, New Music Seminars, area schools – including colleges/universities, the Free Library of Philadelphia and other local, regional and international, cultural and social organizations.
